The beer in the Malt House, Thornbury was reported as exceptional from a recent visit by Chris Clifford.
Pete Tiley (of the Salutation, Ham) has now bought (although it's not clear whether that is the lease or property itself) the Mogul (former Indian restaurant) on Thornbury High Street).
Pete Tiley (The Salutation, Ham) has now taken on a full time brewer: Jonny Mills, formerly of Bristol Beer Factory
There is a new 6 barrel brewery in Oldbury On Severn - Cocksure Brewing Co. 2 brews of their to-be regular beer (P'Ale) have been made already and another - a Red Ale is due soon. No news as yet of what outlets their beer will be available in locally. Can check their Facebook Page for up to date details.
ACV's - Bristol CAMRA branch have requested a meeting with South Gloucestershire council regarding their response to ACV applications. Suggested date is 10th February.
The CAMRA Revitalisation Project mentions an increased focus on clubs.
Pints West delivery to Chantry is required and Chris agreed to do so. Martin to let Roy Sanders know.
Old Spot in Dursley needs resumption of Pints West delivery. John Gatty agreed to do this as part of the planned monthly social trips there. Martin to let Roy Sanders know.

Russell Camp of The Wheatsheaf, Thornbury, has expressed an interest in hosting.
Manchester Beer Festival 19-21 January 2017.
Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival 2-4 February 2017 (entry could be free for CAMRA members).
CAMRA National Winter Ales Festival, Norwich 21-25 February.
Wigan Beer Festival 2-4 March 2017.
Bristol Beer Festival 23-25 March 2017.
Volunteers are being requested by CAMRA to staff the Bristol Beer Festival should any member wish to volunteer.
Bristol Beer Festival tickets for Severn Vale members: Several SV members would like to attend the festival but cannot make the ticket sales sessions and are very unhappy about the present arrangements for buying tickets. Simon offered to collect tickets from a Bristol location and arrange for all monies to be collected beforehand if Bristol branch will agree to a "block" SV ticket request. Martin to raise this request from SV with Bristol branch and advise Simon if proposal is agreed.
