Young Members - There's been not much focus on young members in the Severn Vale sub-branch. John Gatty to approach Steve Edmonds in B&D branch to discuss the lack of young member in Severn Vale and what can be done to encourage more. Andrew Pickin will also review the current membership to identify how many young members Severn Vale currently has.
ACV's - Bristol pub group were reported as still having trouble with local councils approving ACV applications.
The White Horse, Northwick was reported as possibly being in trouble by Rod Lees.
Member numbers confirmed as 100 with no leavers and one joiner since last month.
The Grain Barge was visited by Keith McIndoe who reported Independence and Southville Hop was in good condition.
Martin Farrimond visited the Hawkes House and reported the beer was in ok condition.

Winchcombe and Toddington North Cotswold Beer Festival 21-22 May.
Slimbridge beer festival - 25th June (5pm-11pm). Tickets are available from The Salutation (Ham) , The Old Spot (Dursley) and The Lammastide Inn (Brookend)
South Cotswold Beer Festival (Chipping Sodbury) 8-9 July.
Weston Beer Festival 29-31 July.
Winchcombe and Toddington North Cotswold 20-21 August.
Frocester Beer Festival 26-27 August
Cheltenham CAMRA branch are doing a trip to Chepstow on 4th May but no other details are available.
Martin has spoken to Combined Brewers, Torthworth and visits are available between 7pm-9pm on weekday evenings. 23rd of June was suggested a possible date.
The Horseshoe (Chipping Sodbury) will replace the Old Spot (Dursley) Socials due to the change of bus timetables and general reliability of the service. There may be some trips to the Old Spot by exception. Contact John Gatty for details.
Trips to The Sandford Alehouse, Cheltenham and also to Stroud were mentioned as possible later in the year. Chris Clifford to investigate transport options to Cheltenham. John Gatty to contact Gloucester CAMRA to ask for advice on good pubs to visit in Cheltenham.

Bristol Beer Festival "wash up" meeting is 21st April. Any feedback to Martin Farrimond beforehand.
Members were encouraged to vote in CAMRA "Shaping the Future" survey by April 30th.
A request for articles to go into Pints West was made to all members.
Martin Farrimond meant, but forgot, to mention under AOB the Mild May campaign. Specifically to ask those present to ask landlords if they were going to participate and if so, whether they wanted any corresponding CAMRA publicity material. Martin will send out a separate email to cover this.
